Potala traditional Tibetan incense is a robust and heady blend of medicinal herbs, red sandalwood and other precious substances, made in Nepal by exiled Tibetan Buddhists.It's named after the Potala Palace in Lhasa (itself named after Mount Potala), the chief residence of the Dalai Lama until the Chinese invasion of Tibet. The Potala Palace has now been converted into a museum by the Chinese. A box contains 22 ten inch (26cm) sticks, which burn for over an hour each, depending on conditions.
