Satya Nag Champa Incense is one of the most famous and widely used incense around the world.

Satya Nag Champa was created by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya and founded by Late Shri K.N. Satyam Setty in 1964. The company went on to make many different scents using their tried and tested method of rolling 'masala' incense. 

There are 2 main distributors of the Satya Nag Champa Incense, there is the 'Earth' brand and 'Stamford' Brand. Both versions are classed as original and they both state they still use the same ingredients in the manufacturing process.

Earth Brand

This is the version that is still manufactured in Bengaluru, hand rolled using the original recipe. Incense-Man has been selling this version since it was established in 2003.

Stamford Brand 

We have recently added this version to our inventory as it was the only one available over Covid. This version is rumoured to be manufactured in Mumbai, it is rumoured to be machine rolled but still claims to use the original recipe. 

After trying both versions, in my personal opinion the 'Earth' brand version is the most closest to version that we have been selling for years. The 'Stamford' brand is a lot stronger and even the colour is a deeper orange.
